Axoflow at Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit 2026
Axoflow is exhibiting at the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit, June 1-3, 2026, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. Find us at Booth 1117 and talk through why security data infrastructure is becoming a strategic priority, not just a cost line.
The conversation has shifted
When security data pipelines first emerged as a category, the pitch was simple: reduce SIEM costs. That was the right entry point. SIEM pricing punishes organizations for growing their data, and the cost math breaks well before the security math does.
The market has moved. AI SOC platforms are entering production. Security data lakes became an official Gartner category in March 2026.
The conversation is no longer just about cost reduction; it is about what kind of data foundation the next generation of security operations actually requires. Most organizations are finding that their current infrastructure was not built for it.
Why does detection engineering need an automated data layer?
Detection content - rules, models, threat logic - is only as good as the data it runs against. Log formats change constantly, parsers break, fields disappear, and detection rules fire on noise or not at all. The engineers maintaining parsers are the same engineers who should be writing detections. That is the tradeoff organizations accept when they run brittle, manually maintained pipelines.
An automated data layer breaks that tradeoff. Normalization and field mappings are owned and maintained by the vendor. When the log format upstream changes, the detection engineer's content remains intact. The team focuses on detection logic, not data plumbing.
The data floor sets the AI ceiling
AI SOC platforms are moving from architecture diagrams into production. The underlying architectures are sound. The assumption embedded in most of them - that normalized, enriched, reliable data will be present at the input - is not always met.
The quality of data feeding the AI layer determines the quality of what comes out. Inconsistent, schema-fragmented telemetry at the base means no amount of AI capability at the top of the stack closes the gap. Getting the data foundation right is not a prerequisite for the AI investment. It is the AI investment.
We are also working on something that takes this further: moving detection execution upstream, closer to where data originates, rather than shipping everything to a SIEM or lake before any detection runs. It changes the economics of detection at scale. We will have more to share at the summit.
Who will be there?
