# OpenTelemetry Collector

Send data from the Splunk Distribution of the OpenTelemetry Collector to the Splunk HEC Server connector of AxoRouter.

Axoflow can receive data from Splunk OpenTelemetry Collectors using its Splunk HEC Server implementation.

1. Create a **Splunk HEC Server** connector rule in AxoConsole. For details, see [Splunk HEC Server](https://axoflow.com/docs/axoflow/data-sources/splunk-hec/index.md).
2. Configure your Splunk OpenTelemetry Collectors to send data using their `splunkhec` exporter to AxoRouter.
